Control room of Barasat Police District is located at the Ground floor of the DIB Building at Moyna Checkpost of the Superintendent of Police, Barasat, Kolkata 700125 Control Room of Barasat Police District deals with continuous monitoring of all sorts of actions viz. law and order situation, festivals, apprise crime incident, VIP Movement to all concerned as well as movement of RFS & HRFS round the clock to combat any situation by assisting the Police Stations, Traffic, shifting of sick and injured persons for medical treatment, informing and sending fire Brigade/Disaster Management Team in any arson or fire incident, rendering assistance/help through 100 dial helpline telephone, 112 (ERSS) help line and also to keep liaison with the other Districts/Superiors.    
 

Control Room is functioning with experienced officers and force round the clock. E-Mail Section & RT Wireless Section, Message Receive & Despatch section are also functioning under one roof of the Barasat  Police District Control Room. Additional Superintendent of Police Headquarter, and Deputy  Superinendent of Police DIB, are the controlling and supervising officers of the Control Room.
